The Innovation Office is the University of Basel's hub for entrepreneurship and innovation.
We are inspired by the breakthroughs emerging from science and technology, and believe their potential can be best unlocked through entrepreneurship. By turning cutting-edge research into ventures, and connecting academia, startups, industry, and society, we accelerate innovation and create lasting impact.
To turn our vision into reality, we run educational courses in entrepreneurship, organize inspirational activities for talented founders, operate startup incubation and acceleration programs and start collaborations with industry.
Founded in 2017, we have grown into one of the most established innovation hubs among universities in Switzerland, building a strong global network and collaborating with leading universities and startup hubs across borders.
