Are you curious, open-minded, and enthusiastic about learning the basics of entrepreneurship, gaining the tools to develop innovative business ideas for the future, and making a meaningful impact? Join our entrepreneurship program to meet like-minded individuals - apply your knowledge and research into practice!
Join our Business Concept Module 2, part of the national Entrepreneurship Training program powered by Innosuisse, Switzerland's official innovation agency. Implemented and hosted by the Innovation Office at the University of Basel, this course is your gateway to the entrepreneurial world.
During the 12 –week course, you will dive into both theoretical and practical skills essential for future startup success. The sessions are led by experienced coaches, who will teach you the essence of pitching, team building, financial planning, getting to know your customer, your business model and stakeholders, opportunities and challenges of intellectual property and how to communicate your brand.

• The course is held in English, on Wednesday evenings from 5 to 9 pm. The course is free of charge!
This course is tailor-made for PhD candidates, postdocs, researchers, and professors from the University of Basel and associated institutes, like the Swiss TPH. We also strongly encourage applicants from ETH Zürich D-BSSE in Basel to apply. With limited spots available, your application will be your ticket in!
